The Sussex Cricket League is the ECB Accredited Premier League in Sussex.

Welcome to our Web Site. This provides information about the League's stucture, Officials, etc. It also contains full results and fixture details, plus links to the Web Sites of the member clubs of the League. Follow the various links.




SCL REPRESENTATIVE XI V AUSTRALIAN INDIGENOUS XI
The League XI is playing a T20 match at Horsham on 13 July. See details in LEAGUE NEWS below.

GLYNDE & BEDDINGHAM CC v LINTON PARK CC, KENT.
Glynde & Beddingham CC will travel to Linton Park CC (near Maidstone) in the last 16 of the nPower Village Cup on Sunday 12th July 2009. The match starts at 1.00pm.

SCORECARDS
This year ALL League Clubs are putting player details and full scorecards via their own Play-Cricket Websites. These also appear on this Site as part of each detailed match result. As the season progresses a full picture will be given, including individual best performance details, averages, and so on. This will provide a comprehensive picture of the League's playing activities.

* * 2009 PLAYER REGISTRATION* *
Mandatory registration of ALL players now takes place using the Play-Cricket system. Detailed Instructions to clubs can be read/downloaded here.

* * MEETINGS* *

UMPIRES' CORNER

SUPERVISION OF THE TOSS
As part of the drive to improve standards of behaviour the ECB have issued a new directive to all Premier Leagues. The Sussex Cricket League expects it to be followed in all matches that are controlled by Panel Officials. The Directive reads as follows:
Supervision of the toss is to be carried out by all Umpires operating in ECB matches. Officials should use this opportunity to remind Captains of their responsibilities under the Code of Conduct, which of course incorporates the Spirit of Cricket.

SUSSEX ASSOCIATION OF CRICKET OFFICIALS
Sussex ACO acts as an umbrella organisation for the four Associations within East and West Sussex. To visit their Website, which contains details of training courses, etc in all four member Associations, click on the "Umpires' Corner" Header Bar, above.

2009 APPOINTMENTS The latest batch of appointments (from 4 July) has now been issued and can be read/downloaded using this link.
